Sophia's pots are made from red earthenware, thrown on the wheel, sometimes slab built and decorated with colourful slips and glazes.

They are functional pieces influenced by traditional European and Asian pottery.
Her designs are widely influenced by the beauty of the British countryside and is reflected in the depth of the red clay, the softness of slips and the vibrancy of the glazes she uses.

Her range of pots include mugs, bowls, jugs, oven dishes, plates, planters and teapots but also lamp bases and very popular celebration bells.
For each season of the year Sophia designs and makes a range of limited edition pots reflecting the seasons character and which are sold only during this period.
Such designs include 'Flower of the meadow', 'Strawberry', 'Robin & Holly'.
The pots are oven and dishwasher proof, and she is happy to take on commissions for any aspect of her pottery.

Sophia runs regular children's pottery workshops.
