About Jo Dewar

Jo’s inspiration comes from a movement called Arte Povera founded by impoverished Italian art students in the 1960s who used recycled materials such as wire. Jo has a passion for knitting, weaving and manipulating wire into jewellery, pots and jugs. Jo also specialises in machine embroidery using different fibres and textures to create collages. she often combines textiles and wire to create vibrant pieces of jewellery.
