About Gilly Whittington
Gilly works with stoneware clays, using glazes made with wood ash, coloured with oxides and, on the domestic ware, some slips under the glaze. The domestic ware is all suitable for dishwasher, oven and microwave. Her current interest is in texture and form. Gilly is happy to undertake commissions. She has now moved to france, but will return to exhibit from time to time.
