Activities to inspire others

The Guild aims to inform schools and colleges about its activities. It encourages new designer-makers to become part of the Guild where they can find a wealth of knowledge and support in all aspects of becoming self-employed craftsmen and women. Lottery grants have also given the Guild the opportunity to encourage newly graduated art students to show their work to the public, most notably at an exhibition held as part of the Guild’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2002.
