Message from the Chairman
Welcome to our Worcestershire Guild of Designer Craftsmen. Our website illustrates the broad range of designer crafts that our members produce, which are amongst the very best of their kind. Our commitment to a high standard of craftsmanship can be seen in both the innovative and the more traditional work represented here and is the cornerstone of the Guild’s ethos. We aim to raise awareness of the value of well designed and made products, which can add so much beauty to our surroundings and can prove to be a much better investment than mass produced goods.
The Guild is an important point of contact for our members, as many of them work in isolation. We support each other in our professional development and provide opportunities to show and sell work. We also believe that it is important to encourage those embarking on a career in designer making and we do this whenever possible.
I hope that you will find this website useful and interesting and that you will be inspired to visit our shop and our exhibitions, perhaps buying something of lasting value that will be treasured for many years.
